One of the best ways for you to better your game is to thoroughly understand the odds and strategies that make good players money. Keeping in mind that the odds are in the dealers favor at all times, you must learn how to make smart decisions each and every time you play. So, how do you do that? The answer is the blackjack trainer.
One of the best tools available to novice blackjack players is the blackjack training software program, also known as a blackjack trainer. What is so great about this program is that it actually serves as a blackjack strategy trainer, all while teaching you to better your game for free. There are multiple sites where you can utilize this tool, hitorstand.com and blackjackinfo.com are my two favorite. How It Works It is really quite simple, it is virtually a free online blackjack game that looks at the number of correct moves you make, not the amount of money you win. The two versions I like the best are Hit or Stand and the Blackjack Trainer. In the hit or stand version, you have to know at least something about blackjack because it is left up to you to add you cards and know what moves are an option for you. I like it because it starts you out at a 100% score and dependent on what moves you make, you score will either remain the same or change. For example, the first time I played I made 5 wrong moves overall and my score was 85%. Whenever I made a wrong move, the software told me what I did wrong and what I should have done. It was all around very helpful. The next time I played, I did much better than the first time. The second version, the Blackjack Trainer, also tells you what moves were not “in basic blackjack strategy” and gave you the opportunity to change it. The main difference here is that it was more about winning money, as you started with $1000 and you just played till you were tapped out. It is not a bad software program by any means, just has a different focus. No matter what version to use, they will surely be helpful in teaching you basic strategies that will give you and edge when you play. Why not play both versions; you just might be surprised what you might learn! |
